Dr. John Lando Carter is co-founder of Jean Day and is an associate professor of education at Middle Tennessee State University. He is also the director of teaching excellence for the Learning, Teaching, and Instructional Technology Center at Middle Tennessee State University. Dr. Carter is a former K–12 English teacher.

Dr. Keri Lee Carter is co-founder of Jean Day and head of operations. Dr. Carter has experience teaching college English courses and administrative experience in writing centers. She is a former K-12 English teacher.
